Click for details Baklouti Green (Fused) Chili Oil

From the Barbary Coast of North Africa, this Tunisian Baklouti pepper is rare and unique to this region. This is fused oil is the only example of this fruity and spicy green chili olive oil in the world. Baklouti chili olive oil is made by combining fresh, early harvest organic olives with an almost equal ratio of fresh, whole green Baklouti chilies. The two, and only two, ingredients are then crushed together, mixed in the malaxer which fuses the fresh green essential oil of the pepper with the organic olive oil. Baklouti adds a savory, tantalizing kick to salsas, marinades, soups, grilled foods, vegetables, and more.

We have searched high and low, and it appears that we have created the first of its kind, an Aged Pure Maple Balsamic, using real 100% pure maple produced at a small family farm in Vermont.  This balsamic is outrageously good.  Think pancakes, B-B-Q sauce base, waffles, maple balsamic glazed bacon, pork chops, salmon, glazed ham, ice cream, dressings, marinades, chocolate, cake, fruit, the possibilities are endless.
It was made to be used with our butter infused olive oil, California toasted almond oil, blood orange fused (agrumato) olive oil. It works well with any number extra virgin olive oils in our collection.

Click for details Cinnamon Pear Balsamic Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Cinnamon Pear Balsamic Roasted Sweet Potatoes made with Tuscan Herb Olive Oil and Cinnamon Pear Balsamic.

Ingredients

  • 2 T Tuscan Herb Olive Oil
  • 1/3 c Cinnamon Pear Balsamic
  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, washed, peeled & cut lengthwise into 8 wedges
  • 1 t Borsari seasoning or Sea Salt

Directions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400F. Thoroughly whisk together the olive oil and balsamic. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with the mixture to coat.
  • 2. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet in a single layer and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake until browned and crispy for about 30 minutes, flipping once.
